About Louis the 8th Mall

Originally the site of Saskatoon's Volkswagen dealership in the late 1950's,Louis the 8th Mall has evolved into the shopping center we know today over the last 30 years.

In the 1970's, entrepreneur Vern Waldherr purchased one plot of land alongthe Louise Ave side of the mall and built small building to house his fabric business. He didn't know at the time that over the years he would continueto purchase the other buildings and land and eventually connect them all together to create the shopping destination, Louis the 8th Mall.

Today, Louis the 8th Mall houses 15 different shops and services spanning over 40,000sq ft.
